Kynar® PVDF
Polyvinylidene Fluoride Sheet Based On Kynar® 740, 2800, & 2850 Resins
HFPM offers extruded Kynar® PVDF as standard unbacked sheets and fabric-backed rolls and sheets in both homopolymer 740 and copolymer Kynar® Flex (2850 and 2800) resins. Kynar® PVDF provides a cost effective solution for high-range service temperatures. Kynar® Flex sees more frequent use in applications that require flexibility and thermoforming, whereas Homopolymer provides more structural integrity and permeation resistance.
HFPM PVDF sheet is manufactured from 100% FM Listed Kynar® 740 and 2850 polyvinylidene fluoride resins. It is suitable for wetted parts in semiconductor process applications, and sees widespread use in systems using concentrated acids and ultra-pure water. The material offers corrosion resistance at both ambient and elevated temperatures. It is inherently UV stable, mechanically tough, and abrasion resistant.
