Kynar® PVDF
HFPM offers extruded Kynar® PVDF as standard unbacked sheets and in fabric-backed rolls and sheets in both copolymer Kynar® Flex (2850 and 2800) and homopolymer 740 resins. Kynar® PVDF provides a cost effective solution for aggressive chemicals containment at mid-range service temperatures.
Halar® 901 ECTFE
Produced from Halar® 901 resin to accommodate users’ specifications, this co-polymer of ethylene and CTFE is strong, stiff and impact resistant, and features excellent thermal properties, complete chemical and permeation resistance. It ranks as ultrapure, is suitable for wetted parts, and can be welded and formed readily.
ETFE
ETFE is a premium fluoropolymer that is mechanically tough and offers an excellent balance of properties and extremely low surface energy. ETFE is preferred for applications where other thermoplastics are lacking in thorough chemical inertness, or in environments where they are expected to endure unusual thermal, mechanical, and chemical extremes.
Copolymer Polypropylene (PP-C)
Fabric-backed copolymer polypropylene (CoPP or PP-C) is a great all-around low-cost material that boasts an elevated working temperature, broad chemical resistance, light weight, high impact resistance, and tensile strength. The copolymer specifically is softer and more pliable than the homopolymer, which makes it ideal for applications where flexibility and impact resistance is important.
HDPE
Cost-effective HDPE fabric-backed rolls are used in near-ambient service temperatures for lining dual laminate tank and pipe applications. HDPE welds easily and offers all-around chemical resistance. Unlike polypropylene, HDPE performs well in oxidizer and chloro-alkali environments. Its smooth surface will not corrode like iron piping.
FRPP V-0
HFPM FRPP V-0 (UL94 compliant) polypropylene sheet offers an economical balance of physical, mechanical, and chemical properties in a flame-retardant material. Its notable properties include light weight, stain resistance, low moisture absorption, toughness and heat resistance under load to 180°F.
